Business and Social Partnership Center

The Business and Social Partnership Centre (BSPC) is a non-academic unit of the VMU Agriculture Academy established after the restructuring of the former Agricultural Science and Technology Park (ASTP). Our aim is to share knowledge and ideas, establish important contacts and carry out various activities. By retaining old partners and attracting new partners and customers, we strive to ensure that the public not only sees and hears about but also tries out the innovations presented.

The aim of the BSPC is to facilitate the Academy’s cooperation with business and social partners.

BSPC vision is to become a well-known, high-quality, and reliable partner for business and academia.

BSPC values:

  • Professionalism
  • Responsibility
  • Innovative attitude
  • Respect
  • Quality

The Exhibition Organization Unit (EOU) promotes the name of the Academy by organizing national and international exhibitions and fairs in Lithuania. In total, the Academy has organised more than 100 national and international exhibitions and other events.

The BSPC has been hosting one of the major international agricultural exhibitions in the Baltics, “Ką pasėsi…”, for 25 years in a row. Around 300 businesses from Lithuania and abroad, as well as craftsmen, gardeners and national heritage promoters, take part in the exhibition. Each year, the exhibition attracts around 80 thousand visitors not only from Lithuania but also from neighbouring countries.  We are delighted to be the first in Lithuania to implement a 3D virtual exhibition, which we can confidently refer to as an innovation. More than 1700 seminars were held during the exhibitions, making the exhibitions of the Academy a unique educational event in the field of agriculture.  More than 300 medals were awarded to exhibitors for the most innovative, cutting-edge, and outstanding exhibits. The winners are selected by a competent jury.
