A researcher from the VMU Agriculture Academy Bioeconomy Research Center of Excellence presented her studies at the international conference “EUROSOIL 2025”

On 8–12 September 2025, Dr. Jovita Balandaitė, Junior Researcher at the Bioeconomy Research Centre of Excellence (BioTEC) of Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy, participated in the international scientific conference EUROSOIL 2025, held in Seville, Spain.
The event brought together more than 2,500 participants from across the world – scientists, policymakers, and experts in soil management and environmental protection. The conference programme included oral and poster presentations, parallel thematic sessions, and practical workshops.
Dr. Balandaitė presented a poster titled “Enhancing Soil Properties and Crop Productivity Through Crop Diversification: A Sustainable Approach.” Participation in the event provided an excellent opportunity to share ongoing research, learn about the latest scientific trends and methodologies, and explore potential directions for international collaboration.
One of the key goals of the Bioeconomy Research Excellence Centre is to enhance international cooperation, promote research internships for both experienced and early-career scientists, and foster scientific talent. Dr. Balandaitė’s participation in this prestigious international event reflects BioTEC’s commitment to advancing these objectives.
