“Erasmus+” teaching mobility visit in the University of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat
Professor dr. Eglė Jotautienė and assoc. professor dr. Antanas Juostas from Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy (VMU AA) Faculty of Engineering, Department of Agricultural Engineering and Safety visited the University of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat (ALKU) in Alanya.
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University was established in 2015 as a State university in Alanya. ALKU aims to provide qualified higher education in an international learning environment. ALKU has eight faculties (Business, Engineering, Medicine, Education, Tourism, Sport Sciences, Health Sciences, Dentistry), three graduate schools (Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences) and five vocational schools. The University offers variety of associate degree, undergraduate and graduate programs. With approximately 8,000 students, the University has been growing rapidly since its establishment.
Prof. dr. E. Jotautienė and assoc. prof. dr. A. Juostas presented VMU Agriculture Academy study programs and mobility of ERASMUS+ possibilities in Vytautas Magnus University. Provided lectures on topics: Innovative technologies for safe food production and fuel saving, Combine harvesters straw chopping and spreading quality, Automatic steering systems and its environmental benefits, Evaluation of combine harvester performance telemetry data.
Drusing the visit scientists of VMU AA also visited laboratories of ALKU. It has been told what researches are currently being carried out and what are the possible research areas for the future. The possibilities and directions of development of joint scientific research, scientific articles and joint projects were discussed.
