An invite to a different Spring Festival 2021
“Self-realization during self-isolation” – with this year’s Spring Festival’s slogan Vytautas Magnus University Student Council (VMU SC) is inviting people to spice up their routine on May 12-15: experience, feel, remember.
Spring Festival has been uniting not only university but also the whole city of Kaunas community for 20 years now. The project stands out with its bright yellow colour, mascot Vytautas The Spring, student initiative and a blasting concert during the festival’s closing.
This year it stands out even more. The world is forced to stop for more than a year, but not the Spring Festival! Given the current restrictions, activities will take place in different ways: live (in city squares, parks, public spaces), remotely (Facebook live streams, Zoom and MS Teams platforms) and drive in (participation will be possible without getting out of the car).
This time participants will be offered with creative workshops, dancing, more than a few discussions on taboo topics, e-sports, social actions and like mentioned before – booming drive-in concert to celebrate the closing of Spring Festival.
Self-realization during self-isolation – let’s discover ourselves while being together in a distance, quarantine is not a reason to miss out on the brightest spring adventures!
Find out more about Spring Festival on Facebook and check out mascot’s Vytautas The Spring Instagram to see the jolliest moments from the festival.
