Discussion of cooperation with scientists of the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies
10 th and 11th of December, 2018 scientists prof. Jan Žukovskis and lecturer Rasa Pranskūnienė visited Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies in Jelgava. The meeting with scientists and executives took place at the Faculty of Economics and Social Development.
During the meeting cooperation problems between universities were discussed. The main focus was on the “Smart Village Tourism” program developed by several educational institutions, which is being prepared in accordance with the funding possibilities of ”Erasmus +”.
Participation to this project was also offered to colleagues from the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies. In addition, partners from Ireland, Poland and Turkey will participate in ”Smart Village Tourism” project. During the meeting other opportunities for co-operation in the field of science and studies were discussed.
