Laboratory Services and Fees
THE LABORATORY TEAM PROVIDES ANALYTICAL SERVICES FOR A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS, INCLUDING:
- Soil
- Wastewater and water (surface and groundwater)
- Drinking water and food (vegetables, fruits, berries)
- Plants and feed
- Waste, biodegradable waste, and technical compost
- Mineral fertilizers
- Organic fertilizers and peat
- Soil improvement materials (compost, peat) and technical compost
- Ash and biofuels
- Air filters
- Active substances of plant protection products and pesticide residues
In the materials, both physical properties and quantitative chemical composition analyses are performed, tailored to the client’s needs. Determinations of macro elements (N, P, K) and microelements (Fe, Mn, Mo, Cu, and others) are carried out in soils, mineral fertilizers, plants, and feed. Pollution assessments are also conducted, including analyses of heavy metals and pesticide residues (PCB, PAH, etc.), as well as the identification of active substances in plant protection products.
Protocols for Sample Collection and Delivery:
Required sample quantities, recommended containers, and storage duration for analyses
THE LABORATORY TEAM CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- Sampling Services
(Qualified soil sampling carried out with reference to accumulated data on soil types, granulometric composition, acidity, and nutrient status from previous investigations)
- Other sample collection (including water, wastewater sludge, organic fertilizers and peat, and plants)
- Preparation of Materials for Soil Agrochemical Analysis
(Discussion of soil conditions within the study area, analysis of previous research results, creation of digital maps for pH, P₂O₅, K₂O, Nmin, Smin, etc., summarization of research data, identification of areas requiring liming, determination of lime application rates, and preparation of materials for agrochemical analysis)
(Development of field fertilization plans using organic fertilizers and corresponding schedules, assessment and discussion of target nutrient amounts, data summarization, and preparation of materials for analysis)
(Analysis of soil data for the study area, including pH, P₂O₅, K₂O, Nmin, Smin, etc.; calculation of fertilization rates and preparation of maps for precision, variable-rate fertilization)
- Preparation of Environmental Research Materials and Fertilization Plans
(Development of fertilization plans using wastewater sludge, assessment of chemical contamination in soils and wastewater sludge in highly urbanized areas, summarization of data, and preparation of materials for analysis)
(Evaluation of monitoring indicators related to environmental quality, including surface water, drainage, groundwater, and wastewater, and preparation of the corresponding report)
(Development of fertilization plans for large and small fields based on soil agrochemical analysis data, current year crops, and preceding crops, applicable to various plant species, etc.)
ADDITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Provision of consultations and recommendations on agricultural crop fertilization and soil liming.
- Preparation of agrochemical research data necessary for land evaluation.
- Installation and management of field trials in various Lithuanian soils, including crop fertilization, soil liming, and vegetative experiments, with associated soil property analyses, upon client request.
- Conducting soil chemical and other property monitoring, as well as various ecological studies.
