“Europe’s largest climate change education experience – Climate-KIC Journey Summer School brings together more than 300 students every year. The four-week long course offers a unique combination of academic study and real-world business and innovation experience across Europe with the aim of creating the climate change leaders of tomorrow. During the Journey, participants will get familiar with business-development, innovation-management and the most important challenges of climate change.

The summer school gives the students the opportunity to meet local stakeholders, participate in workshops and site visits exploring climate challenges and to acquire practical skills. The summer school is going to take place in three European cities in an international, inspiring environment. Participants will discuss their ideas and suggestions in multidisciplinary teams of like-minded people with the assistance of climate-innovation experts, trained coaches and entrepreneurs.

We are looking for MSc and PhD students or young professionals who bring an expertise relevant to create business/project ideas related to climate change adaptation and mitigation. High level of English, and excellent educational results are required. The Journey is free of charge for all EU-citizens.

The Journey runs in two different periods in 2020:28th June – 25th July and 2nd – 29th August.
